Reforged Client v2 is now live
What changed?
- A new packing format rfg replaced the old pkg in your game
- To normal players, this means that now, every time we get a new update, regardless of what changed, you will never have to download the full game again, only small patch files
- To developers, it means that you will now have to suffer through the seven hells to try and steal our assets/code
- Modern re-connection feature
- If you dc during gameplay, the game will now show a splash message in your screen with a countdown, if you manage to reestablish your connection in time, the game will proceed normally as if nothing had happened
- In case of connection reset, IP change, etc... The game will disconnect your character, but will also restart itself and relog you automatically
Major New Features
Features panel
- There is now a Features tab in your settings window that let you enable/disable client features at will
Fast Logout/Channel change
- Logging out and changing channel takes only 3 sec instead of 10 sec
Sfx and Voice lines:
- You can now send voice-lines and sfx sounds in the game chat. The sound plays for all players that can read it
- You can mute other players audio by right-clicking on their profile picture and selecting "Mute audios"
- You can check your muted audio player list to manage it
- You can disable all other audios and make so only yours play
- You can disable specific chats audios like Peer and World
- You can control the volume of the audio on the Sfx interface
Visual Effects
- Hide other players effects button on the minimap (does exactly what it says)
- Day/Night and Weather System let you control how the world around you look regardless of how it is in the server, make it night, make it rain, snow, foggy...
- You can enable to see level, guild and class of other players when they speak on any chat
New loot system
- Distribution mode can go all the way up to golden quality gear
- Can set where in the screen you want loot to appear
- Auto greed button to just greed everything that drops (regardless of quality)
- Can set the system to fill the screen with loot windows instead of overlapping all in the same spot
Archive
- More categories
- Can now search and filter by basically everything
- Instant load, no lag
- Retrive All Btn let you take all items from a category to your backpack automatically
QoL
- Bulk use window (on top of gem altar in minimap or press F9) to never need macros ever again
- New backpack manager let you auto-sell/trash items of every quality, gear level and item types
- New auto sell feature let you drag a selection box over your inventory to select multiple items to sell, highlight what is being sold, let you cherry pick loot and gives you full report
- Fast fortification now takes only 1 second to fortify your gear
- Guild benefits quick icons on guild tab
- New item tier with different quality colors
- New pet window with search bar, 30 slots and filters
